Reminders đź’«

There’s a lot of things the pandemic has done to us. I think the worst of all is how it has left us feeling ordinary. There’s no easier way than to feel ordinary than when being stuck at home for extended periods of time. Days that used to be filled with action are now filled with more and more staring at a computer. It’s easy to doubt yourself in that sort of circumstances. If you’re not someone that’s required to get out in order to get whatever you’re doing done, it is so easy to feel ordinary.

This is why reminders are necessary. Of the kind of person you can be. Of what you used to be, and what you will be when the circumstances change. Not everything is always in our control, regardless of however much we try. That is just the way things are sometimes. But it doesn’t mean things won’t change ever. It also doesn’t mean that what you used to be isn’t who you are any more. Regardless of what time makes us think, we are in our essence always the same person. Either we’re adventurous or we aren’t. Either we crave the escapades or we don’t. So, just because circumstances have changed, and the world seems a bit more out of your control for quite longer than you would have wanted it to, doesn’t mean it will be that way always.

So, here’s a reminder to have faith, that you will live the life you’ve craved, that you will have the adventures you’ve wanted and life will one day be what you want it to be, if not better ❤️
